The first few years in LA she worked in such projects as Sebastian Gutierrez's "Elektra Luxxe" and a few co-starring roles on "Ghost Whisperer and Supernatural.

In the winter of 2009, Emma shot "Frozen" written and directed by Adam Green in the wintry tundra of Utah. "Frozen" marked Emma's first leading role in a movie. The movie is about three skiers that get stuck on a ski-lift in the middle of a snowstorm and have to survive for a week. Shawn Ashmore and Kevin Zegers also star. "Frozen" premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival.

In 2011, Emma booked the role of "Amy" on AMC's The Walking Dead. They shot for 2 months in Hotlanta during that summer. She had the honor and privilege of working with greats such as the shows creator, Frank Darabont and his producing partner Gale Ann Hurd. Not to mention Andrew Lincoln, Sarah Wayne Callies, Jon Bernthal, Laurie Holden, Jeff DeMunn and Steven Yeun. Given Amy's untimely demise, Emma was sad to leave her new family.

That fall, luck struck again with Emma landing the lead role in New Line's 5th franchise installment of Final Destination. Shooting in Vancouver CA for three months was an amazing experience. It's hard not to fall in love with that city. It was a fun shoot working alongside, Nicholas D'agosto, Miles Fisher, PJ Byrne, Jacqueline McInnes Wood, David Koechner, Courtney B. Vance, Ellen Wroe under the tutelage of Steve Quale.

Final Destination 5 comes out in theaters August 12th and was shot entirely in 3D.
